Where can I find a ORM-D label?
That is small enough to fit on a 8x6 box with the address on the front?

Here's the one for ammo, print it out, cut it out, and tape it on the box.

all you have to do is write ORM-D inside a drawn rectangle on the box with a marker.I ship ammo all the time that way via UPS 0 -

It supposed to be also marked besides the "ORM-D", with "Small Arms Ammo" or some similar verbiage defining what is in the box.
Years back I lived in a apartment. UPS left ammo with the above marking, with the manager. Because I wasn't home. They went out of their way to be extremely nice to me after that.0 -
I just shipped ammo today, out of UPS Service Center. Take black magic marker and write ORM-D on all 4 sides that is it. I asked for labels and they instructed me to just write on package on 4 sides so visible.
This is the 2nd shipment that I sent and same instructions both times.0 -
you are supposed to write small arms cartridges but I never do. I've shipped thousands of ammo shipments with no issues 0 -
I will call my local UPS and ask them if writing it on there is good. The problem with all the examples I find on line is I print them out and they are huge. 0 -

After December of this year, you're supposed to transition to the new labels. There is not supposed to be any more identification of "Small Arms Ammunition" -- it is supposed to be shipped using just the Dept. of Transportation's "Ground Ltd Qty Marking" shipping symbol:
