Change Reticle?
Anyone know if I can find who can change the reticle on a leupold scope?

Leupold used to offer this service... Try them? 0 -
Leupold just did one for me. Quick turn a round and cheep. I wish all companys were this easy to deal with. 0 -
Like DEEREHART said... it's a piece of cake. Leupold just changed out an M8 six power to a German #4 reticle.
Something like around 50 dollars.
Their customer service is great.

Yep, as those above mentioned, no problem for Leupold. THey also will refill the anti-fog gas inside also. 0 -
My older references give different numbers for German reticules. I would do the tapered, blunted post with a fine horizontal cross wire. It stands out boldly against dark backgrounds and dim light and gives an anti-cant reference.
The blunted post doesn't fade at the exact top like the pointed post.
Target acquisition is also quicker than with plain or tapered crosshairs or complex reticules if that's important to you.
Also there is no intersection to block out the exact point of impact.
For shorter range, the cross wire is unnecessary.0
