  I'm guessing 1978.I'm guessing also that its 245 instead of 215.
  
  I'm far from an expert on the HI Power,just my .02.I'm sure Drobs or someone else will be along who can help.Good Luck! They are fine pistols,I love mine.

  it says 215 on all three spots I found where it says 245 on the web but nothing on 215

  215 is the code that FN used, for HP's that were made specifically for military or paramilitary use. According to my reference. I would believe that 215 coded pistols aren't that common, and were probably imported as surplus or gray market guns.
