Hodgdon CFE 223 Powder
Just got a copy of the 2013 Hodgdon annual manual and it has an article on this powder. I bought a can of CFE a while ago, loaded some .223's with it but haven't fired them yet since the weather won't cooperate. The Hodgdon article recommends it for other cartridges also, including the .17 Rem. and the .204. I would think it would be just the thing for these small bores since copper fouling builds up quickly in them. I've set up to load some .17's and .204s with CFE and if accuracy and velocity measures up, I'll go with it. (I can't shoot in this cold, wet, windy weather but I can sure load cartridges in it!) I've got a 7 mm (.280, .284, 7x57) program set up to fire first when the weather breaks before I go back to the small (and tiny) bore stuff.

very similar to h335, works well in anything that will use h335 (as always check loading data 1st!) 0
