shipping Gunpowder
Hello Ya'll I have a hair under four pounds of bulls eye of a four pound container, a friend gave me when he moved. Thinking about putting up on GunBroker. What do i need to know about shipping, does UPS charge any extra fees when shipping this. please educate me.

UPS charges a hazmat fee ($27) but will only ship from shippers that are hazmat certified which I think costs ove $500.........

I personally would be leary of purchasing a container of powder that has been opened since I don't know the past history. It could be mixed, wet or anything else. Might be a hard sell. JMO.

With the current shortages of reloading components, a few simple 3x5 cards posted at local gun clubs/ranges should result in a rapid sale. I pay about $14 - $16 per pound in the stores. So, you can figure your price from that. Maybe a bit of a discount for it not being brand new. [:)]
answering the question below:
I haven't been able to find Bullseye on the shelves for a while. I have been using American Select and Promo for my pistols. They are available at the prices I mentioned.0 -

Yeah, I kind of thought $14-$16 dollars a pound was a dream...maybe six years ago, but not now!0
