where would i get an owner's manual for a universal (universal of hialeah, FL) rifle scope

Wondering what the opinion is on a SWFA super sniper 20x42 on a Remington 700 308 Cal 26" Fluted barrel over a 10 power scope ??
Any advice is greatly appreciated .

Post some pic and any info stamped into the scope.
Most "image moving" scopes are first focal plane style.
Your scope could be a $79 one or a $1700 one.
Do the cross hairs seem to get fatter as you change the power???0 -

But looking thru the scope as you go up and down thru the power {3 to 9}, what does the cross hairs do??? Nothing or do they appear to change with the power settings?

If the crosshairs remain the same, then you have a more "normal" American style second focal plane scope, And I don't know want moving image refers to.0 -

Image moving printed on the scope referred to a scope that when adjusted for elevation or lateral the cross wires remain in the center. Other scopes of the time such as weaver K10 the cross wires moved . Guess around the 60's early 70's. from that time on it was assumed the scope was image centering during adjustment. 0
