Rem 1100 question
I have a Rem mod 1100 12 ga. with a fixed vent rib barrel ( full) the barrel is marked 2 3/4 only, so thats what I feed it. My question is: can I get a different barrel and shoot 3 in shells? I'd like to do some turkey hunting with it this year, and would feel better with a little more range as I am new to it. BTW its an older gun. Thanks for the help - Ralph

How is the grip cap attatched to the stock on a Rem 1100? I want to refinist the stock and forend 0 -
According to the IPB (Illustrated Parts Breakdown) in the Gun Parts catalog, it's held on by a screw. 0 -
You need to use a very sharp knife to take out the "White Diamond" there is a screw to take off the cap. 0 -
I've done this. When you go to replace the plastic diamond MAKE sure it is seated correctly, otherwise it will eventually fall out. Don't ask me how I know this[:(!] 0
