Winchester bicentenniel

I recently purchase a NIB Bicentennial, which by a lot of folks do not understand the meaning of. At any rate the lady cleaned it up really nice only to expose a place of about 1/4 wide and 1 1/2 long on the receiver where the silver nitrate came off. I have the antler rack, box with a fair sleeve and all the paper work with a box of shells. I am not trying to sell the gun just wanted you to know I have everything that goes with it, but I need to know if anybody knows where I can get the receiver fixed?

  Turnbull Manufacturing, could most likely fix that for you. However, it would cost way more than what the rifle would be worth. Most commemoratives, are not worth much more than their contemporary counterparts of regular production specimens.
  
  While I do understand the Bicentennial meaning, I also know that unless it is a Winchester issued rifle, like a special order, or a "1 of 1000", etc., that is what it is.

  If your rifle is like the one below, it was made in 1976 to commemorate the Bicentennial of the United States. Yes, your set is complete.

  Yup, that is it only I have a box of ammo to go with it.
