Identify this ??

I got this in a box of gun parts I bought at a flea market. I have no idea what it is or even if it is a gun part. Any information will be appreciated.

  I got this with a bunch of parts. I think it is a shell deflector but am not sure. I can't find any markings on it. Any info on what it is and what it goes to will be appreciated! Gunswapper

  Looks like a lock for a window.

  Barrel latch for a break-open single shot rifle or shotgun. Odds of figuring out which gun it's for are a gazillion-to-one.
