Stripper clips
I hsve numerous stripper clips I am trying to identify.
They all appear to hold the 7.62 shell case. Seven different stamps and some with no stamps. Head stamps are: FR in an oval, DWM, FCR in an oval, H in a circle, S.F.M in an oval, a backwards C with a T crossing it, and D.M. in a oval. Appreciate the help

You might try one of the on-line headstamp sites. Many of the same manufacturers who made military cartridges also made the stripper clips, and used similar markings.
The 7.62 rim diameter is the standard size that has been in continuous use since 1888. It was first used in the 7.92 x 57 German commission rifle of that year. Although the early German rifles didn't use a stripper clip.0 -
I tried yeaterday to get the pictures to work no success. Will try again.
I have tried various online sites to identify the manufacturers of the stripper clips and have yet to locate the "list" I was hoping for. I'll keep looking.0 -

This is what he is referring to. It is the same headstamp used on Argentine military ammo. It translates to "Fabrica Militar de Municion de Armas Portatiles Borghi San Lorenzo Argentina"

A head size of around .473 on rimless cases has been so common around the world, that there has probably been an almost endless number of stripper manufacturers. I've never seen a collection of them, but if one exists, it would no doubt be huge. 0
