I don't know the maker of that mount, there's a fellow in the midwest that makes a mount specific for the H&R-12 and win 52's. I have them on my guns. His name is Ken Viani and his email is Ken1855@hotmail.com Really a nice guy to deal with. The mount fastens to the rear holes on the barrel and the receiver sight holes on the L/S of the receiver. Email me at Dokey@frontiernet.net and I'll send you a pic

Everyone seems to agree that a Viani is the best mount however it seems like it stopped making them??

The mount is a BKL 254.
From information at Rimfire Central, they no longer make the adapter that screws down to the rear target scope block location.

I have a Viani which is good, if available. He is apparently in very low production of them, go to the CMP board for the most up to date discussion, still over a year old.

There is a DIY which calls for some drilling and tapping but no milling or turning at:

You would still have to have a base on the rifle to clamp the mount to. If you can find or make one, the 254 Cantilever looks like the way to go.

Thanks for the info on the BKL. It looks like maybe i could use their cantilever mount?
