700 bottom metal

will the bottom metal from a rem. 700 bdl short mag interchange with the bottom metal on a standard caliber? ie 308, 243 etc. Thanks

  It should be the same thing. The only thing that should be different is the follower.

  Yes. The differences are the follower and the box itself which has triangular cut-outs on the sides for the WSM cartridges.
