Made the leap and got the Slide Fire stock. ?s
I paid full MSRP. Yuck... Now I have to find the parts to install it. I don't even know what I need. I tried looking up stock sets but everyone says "Out Of Stock". But I don't want the stock, just the parts.
Does anyone have a source, and list, for what I need?

ya mean for the MSRP you did not get everything in the box???to make it go 0 -
Just the stock, nothing to attach it with. 0 -
You should have received a plastic block that replaces your grip. The Slide Fire stock then just slips on your buffer tube and you line up the grip portion of the SF with the ridges on the block. 0 -
I have no buffer tube. or any other parts. I have a lower and a lower parts kit. 0 -
The Slide Fire stock is meant to replace an existing carbine style telescoping stock. If you are building an AR you will need to still buy the buffer, spring, and tube, etc. These come in kits. Here are pics of mine installed on a M&P 15-22. I swap it out between this rifle and my AR-15

Where can I find these kits and how do I know I am getting the right one?0 -
There are a few places to find them. Midway USA is usually a good spot, although I believe they are out of stock on all manufactures and specs(commercial/Milspec).

There are some over on the auction site as well

I've used the ATI milspec, price is a bit high

Or you could get a kit with a standard adjustable stock when you get sick of the SlideFire wiggling around.

Edit #1 - Here is a link to the search http://www.GunBroker.com/AR15-Parts/BI.aspx?Keywords=buffer+tube0 -
Would this work?
COMMERCIAL STOCK W/ COMPLETE BUFFER ASSEMBLY
-Black adjustable/collapsible stock
-Complete commercial 6 position buffer assembly w/ dual sling attachment and all accessories0 -
There was no link. As long as it has the tube, spring, buffer, castle nut, and stock you should be good to go. The Slide fire stock is supposed to work with both commercial and milspec tube diameters. 0
