Remington 11 12 gauge

I am refinishing, (to original) a remington 11 from 1927. No I didn't strip it, the blue is "fine" and the forearm and stock needed a bath, What I am looking for is a recoil pad or plate. the recoil pad that was on it turned to mud and dust...it also had about 50 metal brads in it. Any idea where to find one? Of course I searched this site..:)

  Ones I've seen (factory ones) are hard black plastic. Not sure, but I think some had metal plates too?
