Source for 3rd Generation Colt 1860 Army barrel
Anyone know of a source? Have one with a badly pitted barrel that I would like to replace. Bought it that way because the price was right. Works fine but lousy accuracy.

Order a replacement Uberti barrel from VTI. I should fit with little if any fitting 0 -
Check out sale numbertoday. It is for an original '60 Army barrel assembly. It will fit your gun.
Lets not promote the other place here.0 -
There are outfits that re-line barrels, they may even offer the service on the auction side. 0 -

Colt Blackpowder Firearms Company, who made the 3rd Generation "Signature Series" Colts, is now Henry Repeating Arms Company. You might give them a call and ask if they have any leftover barrels or give you a source where you might find one.0 -
I am a close friend of the man, J.P. Petrizzo, who was in charge of disposing of all parts and guns left over by Colt Blackpowder firearms in Brooklyh. I can personally attest that Henry Repeating Firearms has no parts or any other Colt items.
All spare parts were sold to Chattahoochee Black Powder Firearms over a year ago. You might contact them to see if they have an 1860 Army barrel. You might also try Colt Parts on line. This firm, base in Arizona sometimes has 2nd and 3rd generation parts for sale.0 -
Thats what I am looking for. Found there phone number and will give them a call. Thanks 0 -
Chattahoochee has cylinders but no barrels. 0 -
