how much to pay for good mixed brass in

man has 2 full 5 gallon buckets of brass. equal amounts of rifle and pistol cart. how much is going price?

Not sure for reloading but last summer I got $170.00 for 2 almost full 5 gallon buckets of mixed calibers at the scrap yard.

Actually depends on the cals. Might compare prices with the auction side for prices. Rifle brass 223, 30-30, 308, 300, 45-70, 444 and a few others seem to be higher than 30-06, 270.

Pistol brass varies even more. 45 colt, 357, 38 spcl and a few others bring higher prices. Anything 40 cal & below the price falls fast.

So it actually depends what cals are in the buckets.
