burris optics
Does anyone have the burris ar332 or ar536? I have an ar, and I need optics with some magnification. I rarely shoot past 100 yards. And I would like to keep the price under 400. Thanks.

Leupold has an AR scope with mildots. You can find it for $349 by doing a little googling for Leupold Mark AR. Sorry no experience with the Burris versions. 0 -
I had two of them and sold them both. The reticle in the AR332 was way to small for my taste.
I prefer the reticle in the Leatherwood CMR 1X4X24. Those tiny dots in the Burris just seemed to small/hard to see. For basically the same or less price you can get the Leatherwood. Check out their website as to compare the reticles you can thank me later.
EDIT Forgot I had this, this is the Leatherwood reticle. Much easier to use and see then the Burris.

No offense Armilite, but that reticule looks like it was swiped from a kraut sub.
This is my favorite. It's a post type reticule. I got this photo off the net. It's called the German type. The horizontal lines are way to thick for my liking though. When the US makers made them years ago their was just a thin horizontal line. Real easy scope to use. Sight it in two inches high of the point of the post at 100 and your good to go.0 -

I know what your saying but it's not as bad as it looks. If you take away all that explanation part of it it looks similar to the one I have in my Trijicon Acog but instead has the inverted V. I also like yours but like mine a little more. Either way it is far superior to that of the Burris.0 -

I had an old Tasco scope that my father bought for me when I was young, that had the German #2(?) post reticle like pictured. I loved it, but being a Tasco and me having it on my .300 for a while, it just didn't hold up to the abuse. Fast forward to a few years ago and I found that Leupold would make me a scope with that exact reticle out of their custom shop for a small fee. My wife bought a nice little 2-7x33 for me and I have been in love ever since. [8D] It sits on my old Ruger .308.
The reason I posted this, was to let the original poster know that I had originally bought it for my AR. I think that if you wanted to scope one, this crosshairs would be "IT."
