Enhanced 700 338 RUM

I have reciently aquired a new in box Remington 700 custom deluxe enhanced 338 rem ultra mag and would like to know how much I should insure it for. Any comments will be appreciated. Thanks

  If you are referring to a Custom Deluxe 700 BDL, in 338 RUM, you should insure that for around a grand.
  
  If it is ever stolen, make sure you get your insurance money fast, because if the dumb arses that steal it, ever shoot it, they will bring it back, after their shoulders heal.

  I'm thinking it's closer to $1500 for the bare rifle. Scope, sling, smithing add to that base IMHO.
