Winchester 67?
I have a 67 that someone XXXed out short long and long rifle on the barrel and then stamped 22 WMR above it. It does shoot 22mag now. Just checking to make sure that this was not done at factory. It does look good not butchered up. I dont think it is factory but just checking. Gun is in really good shape. What does this do to the value.
Thanks

It extremely unlikely to be factory work. 0 -
I have one that has had the chamber reamed out to chamber 22 mag shells in it.The barrel is bored for S,L and LR and is marked so on the barrel. The original bolt is missing.I have a 50 year history with this rifle. Some day i will have the barrel relined back to orig and find a bolt for it and make a rear sight elevator.

JUST TO NOTE; THE M-67 WAS DESIGNED FOR THE .22 L.R., THE .22 WMR OPERATES AT MUCH HIGHER PRESSURE...........I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FIREING IT! (MAYBE WITH .22 WRF AMMO, MUCH LESS PRESSURE) 0 -
I saw one of these home- gunsmith conversions back in the late '60s. The barrel had cracked the entire length. 0
