Meridan 22
Would any body have a photo they could share of this little 22. I have one that somebody stuck a stock of something else and I got no idea what it should look like. It is a model 15. I think they only made one 22 pump which was a model 15 savage.

Meriden was a subsidiary of Sears, back around the early years of the 20th Century. Although they did sell guns under their own name. Most of the stuff they made, were "Store Brand" and "Hardware Guns"
Their are a bunch of repo Sears catalogs from that time frame, that are always on fleabay. If all else fails you might see if any pump .22's are listed. I don't know if they would be sold under one of Sear's "Store Brands", or the Meriden name though?
EDIT #1, I couldn't find a Meriden .22's, in my 1902 repo Sears catalog either.
Went on the net and I got this photo of what is supposed to be a Meriden .22 pump? Most of the Meriden's were "Store Brand" and "Hardware Guns". To say that this rifle is out of the ordinary is a understatement. Seeing it's presentation piece, I don't know how much help it would be, compared to the plain vanilla Meriden's?

I have one of the "repro" Sears catalog that was referred to, the 1908 copy.
The only pump repeating .22 shown, other than the Winchester models 1890 and 1906 is the Marlin Model 20. It probably isn't what you're after but, if it would help, I would be glad to scan and post it.0 -

There is a Meridan and Meridian, so double check the spelling.

It's a very confusing situation regarding these rifles. Although similar in appearance to the Savage 1903. At least two and maybe 3 manufacturers in two different countries made similar semi-autos.
The Batavia and Febiger were made in the U.S. and the Schmeisser in Germany.
I don't know anything about the .22 in Trap's photo? It looks like the photo of a Savage model 1909 in my reference. Members of the Savage family, did have some financial connection with the Meriden firearms factory though.0 -
