is the only difference between these two is that the norma had a longer throat?

  While it is true that the Norma chamber has a longer throat, the original Remington BR brass was 1.520" in length. The Norma on the other hand is 1.560" in length.

  Along that line, if you have a Rem rifle with a rem chamber would you find it necessary to trim Norma brass if that was what you bought?
