OK, I decided on a Slide Fire for my stock on AR15
I have read that you do not get all the parts to install the Slidefire stock.
Can you tell me what parts I need to buy to install?
Also is there a reliable dealer to buy from?
Cheapest?

I got one for the Ak...it had everything needed, dont see why the AR would be different.
BTW...they are a blast!! They do really work, and its very easy to do even while aiming (best you can anyway) instead of just spraying. Took me about 2 mags to get the hang of it, now I can do 2 shot burst, 3 shot burst or run a whole mag at will.
The weapon gets hot very fast, so dont over do it...I run a mag, then let it cool for 10 minutes.....you are also going to burn through lots of ammo, so I hope you are well stocked, or youre going to go broke buying it a todays prices....0 -
So you haven't rigged up a cooling system like on "Sons Of Guns" with coils of copper tubing with water running through them [:D]? 0 -
The slidefire comes with everything you need. And yes they work as advertised. So much so that the last time we used one the cops showed up. [8D] 0 -
you have to have a certain type of buffer tube for it too work. i cant remember whether its the full size or carbine buffer, but one will run and one wont.
just looked it up on their website. you need a car buffer tube. the full size is too long. if you have a carbine buffer thats milspec, you're good. if not, you need to buy one.
the only other thing you "need" is a proper sling attachment. it says that most after market sling attachments wont work.
other than that, you dont need anything special.0
