Pride of Spain

Can someone give me any info on what a Pride of Spain side by side is? I have one serial #164781. in 12 gauge, age? can I shoot current ammo? and will a 10 gauge stock fit on this gun.. I only found 1 stock so far and it is for a 10 gauge.. I have never heard of this gun and there seems to be only 2 on GunBroker...it has heavy patina.. is it something i should clean up or refinish?
I Know I Know what "POS" stands for...

  One of the Spanish proof marks will be a coded date. Usually in a alphanumerical format. Per your description, with "Heavy Patina", and needing a replacement stock. Sounds like a virtual basket case.
  
  I wouldn't be putting any money in it. These Spanish doubles were imported in quantity 30/40 years ago,and didn't sell for big bucks. Put it on the auction would be your best bet, IMHO. Unless you can do all the work yourself, without putting any money into it.
