Reloading Equipment
With the risk of getting hammered by Captain --- I have a complete reloading outfit for several different calibers. It is good quality equipment and not abused. (I inherited it from my father) I have way too many hobbies/vices and do not have room in my shop or the time to start reloading.
I am going to sell this locally and as a complete setup. AS per saltwater tackle if you sell a used reel in excellant condition plan on selling 1/2 of what it costs new. Would the same hold true for reloading equipment.

Need advice so I can purchase economical reloading equipment
for my 300 Blackout. I'd also like to load 30 carbine, .30-06, 7.62 x 25, and .223. I do not require a progressive press, unless the price and accuracy are comparable to that of a single stage setup.

Shop for a used cast iron in a closed loop configuration "D" or "O". You could make do with an open "C" type with a tie bar.
Well cared for quality reloading equipment will last lifetimes.0 -
Lee makes a heavy duty cast iron press comparable to the Rock Chucker. I bought one a couple of years ago. It's just as capable as my old RC, for less dinero.
Be sure to set any heavy duty press you buy for the Hornady Lock and Load bushings. It makes switching calibers a breeze.0 -
Unless you anticipate swaging bullets or other high pressure forming, any of the older C presses work well. Even a scissor looking press by LEE that is held in both hands works well for resizing, particularly if only neck sizing. Presses of this type can be obtained on the used market for about $20. dies are the same for them as the stronger presses, so if you grow into needing the stronger press, the press is the only thing that you'd to buy at that time. 0 -
RCBS stuff if its older, new stuff quality is going down hill. Redding also makes some nice stuff. If your price range is a bit bigger Dillon has some really nice stuff. Good luck. 0 -
Check for used presses on the auction side and {Elsewhere} alway have a lot of them. I sold a complete rig by posting a card at a shooting range. 0
