Smith & Wesson mp15-22 Trigger mod bumpfire
I am interested in doing the trigger mod and installing a slidefire stock on a mp15-22.
I heard the best trigger for this modification is the CMC 3.5 lb trigger. I have also heard that only an older serial number of the mp15-22 will work.
Any insight is appreciated my serial number has to be super new bc i just got lucky enough to purchase my mp15-22 from academy this past week.

I have no advice on how to make your gun more easily bumpfire, but I know if you're not careful with your tinkering you can easily make this semi-auto gun run full auto, and you don't want that to happen. 0 -

Can't help you with the CMC question, but can tell you the first MP15-22 rifles with older s/n, had ejection issues. S&W changed out a bolt coil spring, with different color, to fix the issue. Also, the newer manuals list recommended .22 ammo mfr's. The gun is sensitive to certain brands of .22 ammo. I have one and love it. I also found it important to be sure the rounds are loaded uniformly in the magazine.0
