I have a 121 Remington. With much chambering polishing it will function (extraction issues)nicely with CCI Minimags. I still have some Remington Golden Bullets bought in late 60's early 70's that would function fine.

Almost none of the mass produced bulk packed stuff is any good in autoloader's, some lots seem to work better than others.

Is it possible the Ejector is worn or extractor worn or weak spring.

I would heed PS's advice. Specially about the recoil spring. Get a new one from Wolff. Due all your testing and tweaking with Mini-Mag solids, also. It's my go-to ammo for any 22 with problems. If they don't work with Mini-Mag solids, it the gun not the ammo.

My 74 developed a divot on the chamber edge where the firing pin would strike on an empty chamber. A little of this peening protruded into the chamber and was dragging on the cases during extraction. It is real simple to clear with a chamber iron. Now I only load 10 rounds so I can count and not drop the pin on an empty chamber.
