lr-308 ejection port deflecter
Hey guys I have a LR-308 slick side upper. When I shoot it the brass marks the side of the reciever. I was wondering 1) How do I remove the marks? ( they don't appear to be through the finish) and 2) whats the best way to keep it from happening again in the future? Thanx P.S. I was thinking of putting a tire patch or some stick on velcro on as a cushion.

My Ar's get brass marks from shells bouncing off the shell deflector, and I haven't found a way to clean it off without scrubbing down the finish and leaving a shiny spot. I just got used to it and leave it be...
Sticky stuff like the velcro idea might become a gooey mess with heat (it sure is on my windshield where I tried to stick on a toll-booth Fastrak meter on the glass), but you could try it and see what happens.0 -
