Llama Minimax 45 shells hang up

When chambering a round the shells come in to low chamber properly. Have had this for a while shot well with no problems. Just cleaned. Thanks for your thoughts before i take it to a pro.

  First off it's a Llama. I kid. No not really.
  
  So I take it it's a Officer length. At what point does it start mis-feed? What ammo are you running? Ball, hollow points? Springs are good starting points. Be it the magazine or slide. Might wanna get more info up.

  If it functioned OK prior to cleaning? What has changed? Did you by any chance disassemble the extractor?
  
  In a controlled feed pistol, as the slide moves forward into battery, it pushes the base of the cartridge forward. The cartridge is forced up so that it's rim is captured by the rear face of the extractor.
  
  If the extractor doesn't move freely it wont snap around the cartridge rim. Potentially causing the FTF condition your encountering.
  
  Using inert "dummy" cartridges run them through the magazine by manually functioning the slide. Make sure the extractor is functioning properly by capturing the rim of the cartridges as the slide goes forward into battery.

  I would look at the magazine, first. Check to see if there is anything affecting the alignment of the mag follower to see that it is lifting the nose of the cartridge to align with the feed ramp. Sometimes a little crud can build up inside and drag on the follower or the sides can be dented slightly. Next I would look at the spring tension. I rotate my mag springs every three years with new ones from Wolff in my 1911s. Smaller guns tend to be most sensitive to the mildest variations.
