My WAG Stevens, 20 gauge, "Tip-UP", shotgun. Late 19th Century. If it is a rifle, which I doubt. The value would be much grater then a smooth bored shotgun. More a wall hanger then anything else, if a shotgun.

It is a smooth bore but it is not a 20 g or a 12 g as a 20g shell is too small and a 12g shell is too big. Any other ideas?

Flayderman's Guide says they were made in 10, 12, 14, 16, and 20 gauge so try a 16 gauge and if too small it must be a 14 gauge (which will be tough to find).

He lists value range from $200 for Very Good condition to $400 for excellent.
