"Mohawk" was Remington's shorthand for a less-finished version of another gun. In this case, the Mohawk 48 was a cheaper version of the Remington 11-48 autoloading shotgun. Remington now uses "Express" instead of Mohawk on their basic guns.

The 11-48 was Remington's premier auto shotgun in the 1950's, before the famed Rem. 1100 was introduced.

    Just a model. 20 inch with a "DIAL_A_DUCK" is a BUBBA deal.

Any idea what was the shortest barrel these came with? It could be a 24" from the picture. I have not seen it in person yet. It is definitely shorter than 26".
