Question about the quality of clones. How do the Speacial Weapons SW3 fair?

  CDNN has the PTR-91 in stock for $1300.
  
  They are supposed to be a decent copy of the HK91.
  
  I don't think that there are surplus parts on them, I read
  that the tooling the rifles are made on is from HK though.
  
  Might be worth checking out. Surplus mags are still reasonable on the auction side.
  
  Don't overlook any of the FAL rifles on the auction side. They didn't earn the title "right arm of the free world" for nothing! Most are built with surplus military kits, mil spec parts and great barrels.

  Depends on price. Guys are asking what HK's used to cost for them. My budget is about 1,500 on any HK clone. I like the GI configuration too. Not target barrels Etc.

  CDNN has the PTR91 for sale on their FFL dealer website. Talk to your local FFL dealer, you should be able to get one if you act quickly.

  friend of mine had a ptr with collapsable stock. P.O.S. sent back twice, and still jam-omatic. if you do a search, you will see there are quite a few problems with these. you would be better off getting an fal.

  I might be better off with the CETME I already have then since it runs just fine.

  Just so you know, the Germans(HK), copied the CETME from the Spainards. It was called the G3, then refined a little into the 91, some years later. There should be plenty of good CETME's, and G3's out there on the market.
