Seems like crap is oozing westward across the Mississippi river...

Missouri needs to set up barricades on their eastern front. [;)]

Commies and idiots can PROPOSE any law they want. What gets passed and signed is what matters.

Ain't gonna happen. Even if something that stupid did pass (and it won't), any judge would rule it unconstitutional.

This was proposed merely for the "see we tried to do something" excuse.

There aren't enough fuzzballs in the state to enforce that law.

I disagree. These laws are proposed as a "shot across the bow". It's designed to scare us into making compromises in the next rounds of proposals. They can then say how far they have moved toward the middle while we refuse to budge an inch.

Ain't never gonna happen. They don't have the votes, probably don't have any votes beyond the bills authors.

The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government

WA State just put one up too..SB 5737 http://apps.leg.wa.gov/billinfo/summary.aspx?bill=5737&year=2013

No confication but subject to registration & yearly police inspection[xx(] as if the police don't have enough to do.

Hmmm... you know, it would be interesting if any of these proposed laws passed. Registration, not gonna do it... turn mine in, yea right.... confiscate, come and get em.... I don't know about anyone else here, but this gun talk has been going on long enough. If the government is gonna do something, I wish they'd do it already. As the saying goes urinate or get off the pot.

They can pass all the laws they want and why not start in the hood and see how it works out. Just look at Chicago and the crime there and when they catch a bad guy they plead it down and out the door they go to repeat their terror. Enforce our laws and let the bad guys do the time in a Jail like Sheriff Joes 3 Baloney and a cot

Yep! Vote libertarian on principle and let the democrat win.
At least we can say our finger prints are not on it.
    Sounds cynical doesn't it.

Just a bunch of scary tactics hot air...Ant gonna happen, Lots of Gun owners in MO.

Consider the recent story about the manhunt for former LAPD officer Christopher Dorner.

It took the vast resources and manpower of the Los Angeles Police Department and numerous other law enforcement bodies and federal agencies over a week to track down one guy - one guy!

If it takes the LAPD over a week to find and kill one guy, how much effort do you think would be required to disarm American gun owners in MO without meaningful resistance?

Missouri does have a republican house & senate. Not that I'd trust them either.
