Does anyone out there know of a book or magazine article that Really explains all the variations of the Colt Officers guns? I have 2 Officers .38's of different vintage and 2 Officers model Match in .22 and .22Mag.

The Colt Revolver by Charles T. Haven and Frank A. Belden ha s a fairly good write up on these pistols and Pictures I don't think there is a book itself on these 2 models. 0 -
Haven & Belden covers only Pre-War Officers Model revolvers. It sounds like the OP has later Post-War models. For Post-War information, the OP needs to get a copy of "The Book of Colt Firearms."
There is a seller on eBay (sendmailtojim) who has the best price I have seen for the Third Edition. Every Colt enthusiast should have a copy of TBOCF. It remains the best all-around source for information on Pre-1971 Colts.0 -
I have a few OM Colts and am no expert, but a 22 Magnum Colt OM is a very good ($$$) variation. It was offered in the final OMM variation (5th model) and Colt made only 850 of them. 0
