why was the topic I started locked?

I just don't understand why it happened. I hope I didn't do anything wrong. I had a bit more information to post. For example I wanted to post that the owner of the stalking rifle is a machinist and says he can fabricate scope mounts for the rifle. Whether he would do that for anyone else is another question. Plus I wanted to point out that the other versions of the .22 mentioned are the reason I suggested the rifle may have been made in the 1920's.


I really don't want to mess up here. If someone could let me know why the topic was locked I'd really appreciate it.

  One of the rules of this forum is that the mods close the topics after 10 responses. All you have to do is start another topic, referencing your previous one, and preferably having a hyperlink to it.
