Kahr p9 magazine
I just purchased a used Kahr P9. It only came with one magazine and it has 40 Kahr stamped on it. I have not shot it yet but it seems to function as it should, just by racking the slide and cycling ammo through it. Do all p9's have a 40 stamped on them?

They probably sent a 40mag because they were out of 9s, or it was someones oversight. Glocks are interchangeable like that too.

Is this something I should be concerned about? Are they dimensionally the same or should I be shopping for another mag.??0 -
To feed correctly, the feed lips from the 9mm, have to be different than the 40 caliber. I suggest you try it, and if it works, then good for you. If it does not, then get get the 9mm magazine, or any subsequential magazines you buy for the 9mm caliber.
You also might want to check and see if your barrel is a 40 or a 9mm, as most pistols of that type have interchangable aftermarket barrels.

I'd go back to the shop and see if their P40 has the P9 mag [:D]. 0
