Redfield widefield scope
I accidently bumped the scope on my rifle. It did not change the point of impact but it did bend the oval shaped end of the scope a little. Is there any way to straighten it back out without hurting the scope?

The scope is done. Sorry, but there is no way to trust that scope any more.

It is only slightly bent right on the end. Not really close to the glass. I have fired it after this happened and it still shoots right where it always has.

You could send it in to one of the scope repair places (ABO-USA comes to mind). Maybe they could replace the eye-piece if that's the bent end. 0 -

If it is a hunting type of gun /scope. and it shoots as well as always, the only thing you may have worries about is it lost the fog-proofing. If it doesn't fog up when it changes temperature, leave it alone and make up a good "story" how it got dented when the 16 point buck charged you and finally dropped at your feet after three shots.[:D] 0 -
