persian luger?

i have no pictures... customer called and said he was going to look at buying an all matching persian luger in GOOD condition. with no pictures lets assume it is. what do you all think it is worth??

  Need MUCH more info and PICS. Markings are important. If it is a faked one= $300....if a real one with 8"barrel= $6000. Take your pick.

  +1000, With all the fake, reworked and "improved" Lugers that have been foisted on folks over the last 50+ years. No telling what it is or was? Unless he has some authentic Luger pros give it a through hands on inspection, he is going to be like a lamb led to slaughter.

  Like Rufe says, he should dance around that one with a 10-foot pole, keeping 20 feet away at that, until the thing has been vetted (or not) by somebody like Shattuck and/or others.
