22 Super Jet
I know about 22 Jets as I have 6 pistols, TC pistol and TC rifle.Who makes a gun for this caliber? Thanks for imput!

I carry and shoot my model 53. The Marlin 62 and the H & R 158 could be had in the regular Jet.
added I use cast 45 gr for less than full tilt loads.

I recall reading about the Cotterman Super Jet in Gun World in bygone days. It is blown out very straight with a steep shoulder and short neck. It still set back in the chamber of a revolver but added worthwhile powder volume for a single shot.
I don't know of anybody making a gun for it except as a custom job or rechambering a regular Jet.0 -

As with so many of the venerable, older wildcat cartridges, the .22 Super Jet has fallen from favor. This has been and always will continue to be a custom chamber for single shot pistols. Any of the custom barrel makers involved with TC rifles and pistols will be able to lend a hand.
22 Super Jet
Historical Notes:
The 22 Super Jet was developed by gun writer Dan Cotterman and the data first published in the July, 1962 issue of Gun World magazine. It is based on the 22 Remington Jet, which is fire formed in the 22 Super Jet chamber. It can also be formed from 357 Magnum brass cases because it is essentially a 357 Magnum necked down to 22. There are several versions of this cartridge, but they are all very similar. The Ackley version, or Improved Jet, and the 22 Sabre Cat by Christian Helbig are practically identical, and loading data can be used interchangeably with the same results. These cartridges are also very similar in performance to the 218 Mashburn Bee. Their primary purpose is to provide a rimmed case for use in single shot rifles.
General Comments:
These relatively small 22 centerfire cartridges are ballistically superior to the factory 218 Bee and will push the 45 grain bullet an extra 200 to 300 feet per second in muzzle velocity. They are effective cartridges for their intended purpose, but the 218 Mashburn Bee will do as well or better, and is less trouble to make. The one advantage they have over the 218 Mashburn Bee is that the 357 Magnum brass is plentiful and cheap. The Super Jets are good 200 yard plus varmint cartridges.

I have a 22 superjet for a H&R single shot it seems to split the cases when form firing also have a standard 22jet H&R.have a 53 engraved and hex T/C plus rifle.I collect all H&R's still need the 25-20.tks.hedge[:D] (thinking of taking 22super jet out to 22/357 mamimum)ALSO 22JET BORE IS.222 bullets are hard to find bought 1000 years ago 0 -
