Would a bayonet frog for a K-98 Mauser be considered a period correct frog for my M-95 bayonet?

  No. The frog used with the M95(Mannlicher)bayonet is an Austrian pattern. Bulgaria and Czechoslovakia also produced this same frog. They are very common and much less costly than a German M1884/98 frog. many of them for sale on eBay.
