CZ P-07 CZ-USA said it can be done
I have a P-07 in 9mm,I was told that a top assembly/slide of 40S&W would fit and function on the 9mm frame ( CZ P-07 40S&W top on 9mm frame ).
Of course that includes a 40S&W barrel& bushings,the whole top assembly.
Does anyone know any different, will it work or not[?]this way i would have 2 calibers in 1 pistol

You want to swap out the entire upper of your 9mm luger P-07 for one in .40SW, to change calibers.
Makes perfect sense. Some guns can be easily converted this way (eg the Tanfoglio Witness guns, which are also based on the CZ-75 platform, like yours).
Anyway, I don't know the answer to your question, but I'm pretty sure the "regular" CZ75s cannot be converted in the manner you describe, and my guess is that yours CANNOT be converted this way, either.
It might be worth a call to CZ customer service; they should be able to give you a definitive answer.
I'd add that this type of conversion, even if possible, may not be cost effective. When/if you can locate one for sale, the price of entire uppers sold separately is usually most of the cost of a separate used gun.0 -
Besides the question of interchangeability, cost might be a factor? CZ stuff is way expensive. Unless you luck out with a BIL deal. A 40 slide/barrel and associated parts. Likely to set you back almost as much as a complete pistol. If CZ will sell it separately in the first place?
Only time I've seen complete slide assemblies for sale reasonably, is on the auctions. The slide assemblies of confiscated pistols, that had their frames destroyed were being sold. Kind of makes you wonder how the yahoos got them, and what they did for a day job?0 -
Just talked to the fellows at CZ-USA and they informed me that it can be done ,that they do it all the time to test there guns and have mul-ti ( 2 ) cal. handgun in 1 frame[:)]
Also found a upper in 40 S&W that i bought on GB. going to use it on my 9mm P-07[^]

You lucked out! That is a outstanding deal.
The clown that was selling the confiscated slide assemblies. When I was in the market for one for a Sig Sauer 220. Was trying to milk them for top dollar. It really pissed me off. As he was getting them free under the table, from the local cop shop.0 -

range report finally got to the range and had a blast with the two calibers,could and did swap out top ends and fired 9mm & 40S&W . it took less than 10 seconds to swap the calibers ,both shot bulls eye consistently at 7 yards.[^][^]0
