Whats a 1970 GTO in good condition worth......as with all things pics are required because one mans very good could be excellent or poor to others. There is a sticky on the first page on how to post pics. Without pics a post '64 Winchester in very good condition would probably bring $400-$600 to the right buyer. You can also see what they are going for by doing a search for COMPLETED auctions of Post '64 rifles and see what realistic auctions are getting not blue sky versions. 0 -
I don't know $$ values, but as far as Winchesters go, one made in 1973 would be when Winchester was getting back to some resemblance of quality- The worst production years were 1964-1968. In 1968 the stockholders figured out what the bean-counters had done to the company in 1964 and made changes to improve the quality. Unfortunately it wasn't until the Model 70 returned to the non-rotating extractor (about 1990) that the public accepted it as almost as good as a pre-64. 0 -
There were some models that are worth more than others: The DELUXE was made from the late 60's to the early 70's...This rifle had AAA wood and was hand checkered...they were only available in certain calibers...they had real rosewood ends on the forend of the stock. These were less popular than the Supergrades...but in my opinion nicer! 0 -
Just saw one sell at public auction last Saturday( 30-06) in Missouri for $650 with a leupold scope on it. Without the scope probably would of been $400-500. area 0 -
Thanks for all of the responses.
I'm guessing a fair price would be about $5500 -
