Look here under drilling on this auction site. . You will see that these guns vary in price from just a few hundred dollars to many Thousands of dollars. Condition Condition Condition. will be the major factor along with time frame the gun was made, Who made the gun, and What chambering the rifle is in.
As to it's value .Very good in focus Close-up pictures are a must to let anyone do more than a WAG as to what you have in value.

Slug the rifle barrel. A chamber cast is a good idea too. There is hope for odd metric shells. I almost bought a 16x16 with a 5.6x52R which is a 22 Savage Hi Power. Krupp could be good steel.

added Maybe you will get lucky and have 9.3x72R in your marked 8.7

"Flusstahl" is the German designation of fluid steel. Which was a very high quality steel, back in the day.

"Krupp Essen" was a very famous German steel works, that that manufactured the steel used in the barrels.

If you remove the barrels, the metric designation of the rifle barrel's caliber should be marked.

After further looking the barel for the rifle is marked 8.7MM and date of manufacture is 1872. It has wing hammers and a lot of what appears to be silver engraving on the recirver. Thanks

The 8.7 mm would be the bore diameter. It works out to approximately to .342 in English/our measurement. The most likely cartridge that would have a bore diameter of 8.7 mm would be the 9 X 70R mm Mauser. Most likely the 1872 is the serial number not the date of manufacture.
