You can't contact the bidder. He has to contact you first. Post any additional info in your listing. Hope he sees it.

Did add the information to the auction. Just thought as a courtesy I would inform the bidder also. Thank you!!

Normally your contact info is not disclosed to each other until the auction is over and a winning bidder has been determined. You could try the members list and see if you can email him thru there.

If a bidder has any items for sale, you could contact him through his listing, but other than that (or the forums here, as suggested) you don't have anyway to contact him.

If the information you've added makes your item "less valuable" -- and he didn't know it when he placed his bid -- you might have to release him from his bid if he wins.

If the information makes your item "more valuable," you might not get full value based on your mistake -- that happens sometimes.

    wallyent,

I applaud your desire for fairness.

If he (or she) is the current bidder with expectations of winning that item, he should be watching the auction and paying attention to any additions which can be placed by the seller as answers to questions.

If for any reason I can't imagine, the winner doesn't see that information then you will have to negotiate a decision amenable to both parties. Unless I miss my guess, he will see the changes.

    Best.

Anyone know if the system contacts the bidder when changes are made to a listing?
