Tried both of those sites, couldn't find the sierra bullet. Guess I'll try calling Sierra if I can find no. Figured I'd pick a tough one to start with, but they were free.

First let me say I am no expert and if I am wrong I know I will be corrected.

It seems to me you can use the data for any 185 gr jacketed flat point bullet (that is what yours is, correct?).

The data doesn't have to be specifically for a Sierra brand bullet.

So I guessing you are trying to load for a 45 ACP. But it could 45 GAP or some other wonder pistol or revolver. What cases do you have now, have they been trimmed to length?

Unless your at or near the top end of the limits of the cartridge or firearm brand of bullet is more or less generic.

Found the answer, called Sierra expecting to punch a dozen numbers before I talked to a tech. Took only a minute an a fellow named Phillip answered my questions, gave me a powder recommend ion and his ext. no. To call him straight back. They've got great service.
    The coal was 1.155
    Powder recommended was
    Power pistol 6 to 8.2
    Tite group 4.5 to 6.2
Now if I could only find some primers I'd put my new press to work. I think I've found a hobby that I'll stick with. Its a lot more interesting than I thought it would be.
Thanks for the help, I'll have a million more questions before I'm through.
