I believe this rifle is an #6 falling block but not sure. Can anyone tell me what this is and approx value. Thanx

  Yes, it's a Remingtom Model 6.

  It's what is known as a "Boys Rifle". These were inexpensive single shots, made by many firearms companies from the late 19th to approximately the 1930's. As Remington made a lot of #6's, they aren't rare.
  
  Cosmetics would be a big factor to a collector of Boys Rifles. The wood on yours looks OK, but the pitting would be a negative. Hard to call, see if you can find any that were sold recently on the auctions for a ballpark.
