Cooper M38 or M21 in 20VT?

I have a chance to get a new Cooper M38 in 20 VT or a slightly used Cooper M21 in 20 VT, looks like new. The M21 is a little cheaper because it is used. Thoughts?

  Either way you are getting a very nice rifle. I have two model 38's, one in 17 CCM, and the other in 17 Fireball. The 38 is a little more compact action than the 21.
