Ammo head stamp?
Hi, I have some 5.56 ammo with a head stamp with a circle with a + inside them it is stamped LC 12. Anybody know what this is?

I think the circle + is the NATO approved loading marking and my guess is it Lake City 2012 production. 0 -
As Charlie said, the (+) is the NATO mark indicating the cartridge was manufactured to NATO standards. But, be wary. Some non-NATO countries will put that mark on their headstamp as a selling point. The ammo may, or may not meet NATO standards. Google the list of all NATO countries if you have any doubt. 0 -
