High Standard HD Military needs magazine
I need a magazine for a High Standard HD Military. I was wondering what mags from other models are interchangable. Like will a Sport King mag fit, etc.
I've heard the replacement mags made by the aftermarket don't work. I've seen some that are advertised as genuine High Standard but have my doubts. What can you tell me?

The correct magazine work the best. It took me 2 years to score 4 of them on flea bay. One was even new in the wrapper. They will not be cheap. They can be tuned to your pistol. A Sport King will fit but only functions correctly about 80% of the time.
See rufe-snow's post for pic of correct mag. The lip end is important.

Do you think this one is the real McCoy?

For that kind of money I'd want one that has the correct lips and a metal follower. 0 -
Personally I've had good luck with the recent production Triple K magazines, that are made in the US. Give them a try before buying something questionable off of fleabay.
Original H S mags have become quite pricy as Charlie noted. As the Triple K's are guaranteed and still quite reasonable, I would give them a try.0 -

That's not a original HD Military magazine, no matter what baloney the fleabay hustler is trying to feed you. That's a aftermarket magazine that recently made. See the link to my previous post that Charlie referenced. It has a photo off the net of a original, "Two Tone, Finger" mag that HS provided for the HD Militaries.0 -
I bought 2 off of Midway Usa.
They have that hunk of metal
on the bottom.
Anyway, one has to mike his/her orig mag
and gently -using a pair of strong needle nose
pliers- to meet those dimensions.Mine work fine.0
