I have the same tumbler. Works great!
I use the Lyman green treated media.

I also bought a digital timer so I can tumble brass in the garage at night.

    I run it 3 hours.
The Lyman media should fill the tumbler about 3 times.
My one jug has lasted me for 3 years and still going. I just change it when it starts to look real dirty. I do not tumble brass to get lube off of it though.
Brass goes in the tumbler straight from the range, before depriming.

    You might well become addicted!

You will look at all things as how useful it will be for reloading.
    Furniture, die storage, etc.

    I collect peanut butter jars...

    JUST TO NOTE:
    I started reloading in 1966
I've built rifles because I had a set of dies and no rifle for that caliber.
I've bought dies because I had a rifle in that caliber
I've built/bought rifles for ammo that I 'aquired', then I had to buy dies to reload the ammo I hadn't shot yet

you see where this is going? [:D]

Like a friend of mine always said, She'll get over it. Then one day I seen in the paper where she filed for divorce. I guess she didn't get over it. I'm sure you'll find a compermise in there somewhere with her.
