    A real gunsmith will have the skill and spring stock to make one.

    Might be a DIY project if you are handy with a Dremel tool. Keep spring stock cool, eye protection a must. Maybe one of those small 1/2 wide triangle flat paper clips (not the wire kind).

    I don't think part #27-45G is the one you want.

    You might consider using one made from feeler gauges, although more pricy then making one out of a paper clip. Years ago I used one of the leaves out of a feeler gauge set, to make a flat spring for a magazine latch. As Charlie suggests if it's one of the thicker leaves, your going to have to use a dremmel with a cut-off blade.
